Educational Talent Search (ETS)

Upward Bound (UB)
Upward Bound motivates and academically prepares local high school students (low-income/first generation college) to pursue a post-secondary education. Upward Bound offers tutoring, career advising, financial aid information, supplemental instruction, and college/industry field trips.

Student Academic Services (SAS)
SAS offers many programs that provide students guidance, motivation, and academic advising. This position will be responsible for custom database applications that have been developed using FileMaker Pro to support the services offered at SAS.

The Cal Poly Supplemental Workshops in Math and Science are both intensive programs designed to help students better understand their math and science courses. It is funded through Student Academic Services and a California Lottery grant, as well as additionally supported by the College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly.
