Financial Aid is Available!

Financial Aid to attend Summer Institute is available! SI applicants MUST COMPLETE the on-line FAFSA for the year 2008-2009.

Yes, 2008-2009!! This is confusing on the FASFA site but our Financial Aid Office uses the 2008-2009 FASFA form for Summer awards.

Example of 2008-2009 FAFSA Form

Don't delay, file your FAFSA 2008-2009 immediately to ensure all documentation is processed on a timely manner and your award is finalized in time to make the required payments associated with attending Summer Institute.

Note to students not eligible for financial aid:

If you do not believe you are eligible for aid but would still like to participate in the program and are willing to pay for your own SI costs, please make a note of that on your SI application.

Self-Funding your Cost to Attend SI?

If you are self-funding all or portions of the cost to attend SI (i.e., Registration Fees, Housing, and/or Meals), you will need to submit payments as soon as possible and no later than the beginning of the program. Please be advised that any outstanding fees will prevent your ability to register for Fall quarter (new student registration for Fall occurs in July). Payments can be made in person at the State Cashier's Office which is located on the first floor of the Administration building (bldg. 01) or online by following this link: http://www.afd.calpoly.edu/Student_Accounts/onlinepayments.htm
