Academic Enhancement
It is our belief that every student entering Cal Poly is a successful student. SSS offers academic enhancement programs to assist students in remaining successful with university academic requirements. SSS participants may request assistance with any of the following programs:
- Study Session
- Supplemental Workshops in Math
- Supplemental Workshops in Science
- Study Skills Seminars
- Individual Assistance:
- reading
- writing
- study skills
- mathematics
- any course that a participant finds challenging
Graduate and Professional School Advising
SSS strongly supports participants in continuing their education at the graduate level. Support and assistance is provided for choosing the right program, researching financial aid options and completing the application. Quarterly visits to California campuses that offer post-baccalaureate programs are sponsored by SSS each quarter. SSS participants are invited to attend at no charge.
