Eligibility Criteria

1. Students must be a US citizen or legal resident.
2. Students must be in the 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade in any of our outreach schools.
3. Neither parent has a four year college degree.
4. Student must meet current US Department of Education family income guidelines (low income).
   Example: Family Income for a family of 5 must be $40,515 or less a year.
5. Students must have a sincere desire to improve their grades and be willing to work hard.
6. Students must give 100% to school (no discounts).
7. Students must be willing to stay in Upward Bound through high school graduation.
